For the week of October 6th – 12th
With harvest out of the way, we focused on field work and getting the harvest equipment blown off and washed up. It’s one thing to finish harvest but it’s nice to have time after to get the equipment all cleaned up prior to winter.
The weather forecast for this weekend has been ranging wildly from isolated showers to at times calling for up to 50cm of snow! We still have about 1/3 of our canola stubble to harrow up – but everything else is complete!
This weekend everyone will sit back and enjoy thanksgiving – timing couldn’t be better to have a couple of days off!
Updates will be more periodic from now until next spring when we will resume our weekly updates!
