Just over a week into seeding and we are at 45% complete. We have 77% of the wheat done, 58% of the barley, 36% of the canola, and all the oats are in the ground. This is very early compared to normal – not too many years ago we were just getting started around this

We got both seeding units in the field late last week and did about 1,000 acres between the two of them. Got a few issues figured out and made sure everything functioning properly. The weather is still on the cool side – we have had single-digit highs and overnight lows in the -2 to -7

The weather has been warmer out and we have been able to get both air drills folded out and starting to work on them. We upgraded one of our Bourgault air drills over the winter – from a 76 foot 3320 with a 700-bushel cart to a 86 foot 3320 with a 1300 bushel cart.
